The day-long symposium will be followed by a concert of gestural music. It will present a program of pioneers in the use of interactive techniques in music. The program presents CSL Paris researcher Atau Tanaka, and invited artists Cécile Babiole, Laurent Dailleau, and Michel Waisvisz with vocalist Najib Cheradi. These artists use sensing of gesture to articulate musical form, sound/image, and song.
