15th Anniversary, 2011

LA MAISON ROUGE, Paris, 30th September 2011.
10 boulevard de la Bastille, 75012 Paris, France

The Sony Computer Science Laboratory was founded 15 years ago, as a sister laboratory of the Tokyo Sony Computer Science Laboratory founded a decade earlier.
Today we can look back proudly on an intense period of exciting experiments, new discoveries, and a significant scientific and technological impact of our research. To celebrate these achievements, Sony CSL is organizing two events, reflecting the two main strands of our activities: a scientific symposium addressing open system challenges facing our current society and a science-art event exploring the nature of creativity.

  • Afternoon Symposium: CAN OPEN SYSTEMS SCIENCE TACKLE ANCIENT SOCIETAL CHALLENGES?
    Program
  • Evening Symposium: HOW COMPUTERS EMPOWER INDIVIDUALS TO BE CREATIVE?
    Program
  • Evening Event: THE PERFORMING SCIENCES
    Program
